Elements of a good interview
Interview of Sneaker collector (Mark):
Q: Why sneakers?
A: "I always loved sneakers since I was young but i never had the money to buy them so when I got the money I bought all the ones that I wanted."
Q: What type of sneakers do you like?
A: "I mostly like Jays (Air Jordans) but sometimes I'll buy some nike dunks."
Q: How does it feel to be apart of a sneaker community
A: " I love it man, it is a lot of fun to be a part of it."
Q: What do Sneakers mean to you?
A: " Sneakers to me are valuable, They are also a easy way for me to make money by buying and reselling
them for double the price."
Q: How did you get into sneakers
A: "When I was younger I always saw this one kid at my school with new shoes all the time and I wanted to be just like him."
Q: How many pairs do you have
A: "I have about 20 pair, I would have more if i did sell a lot of them."
Q:What about sneakers do you like
A: "I like how sneakers bring out your style"
Q: Define a sneakerhead
A: "A sneakerhead is a person that is addicted to sneakers."
Q: What is your favorite sneaker?
A: "Definitely the concord elevens"

A: "Heat, which basically means its worth a lot"

Q:Why sneakers
A:"I've Just always like sneakers"
Q:How does it feel to own a sneaker store?
A: "It's great, i love that i get to be around what i love all day"
Q: How does it feel to be apart of the sneaker community?
A: "It feels great, i love that my store is a place wear people come to get their sneakers."
Q:What do sneakers mean to you?
A: "To me sneakers are priceless, they are apart of me like a finger. The same way you cant detatch my finger
from me is the same way you can't detatch me from my sneakers."
Q: Is it easy to own a sneaker store?
A: "Well if it is easy everybody would own one."
Q: How many pair do you have?
A: "Maybe about 300, i know some people sell their sneakers but i could never do that i guess that is why i have so many."
Q:What is it about sneakers do you like?
A: "I like that sneakers can be a perfect asset to an outfit."
Q:Define a sneakerhead?
A: " In my opinion a sneakerhead is a person that is dedicated to get their hands on any shoe that they like."
Q:What is you favorite sneaker?
A: "I dont have one i love my sneakers the same."
The interviews went great. I sat down with both interviewees profesionally and both interviews went smooth.
I think that next time i could do better at making the interview more like a conversation instead of reading the the questions one by one. I think that i did a good job at recording the interviews also.
